You deserve a beautiful postpartum
This is where our journey begins.

My story
My story begins with the birth of my firstborn (my daughter). The delivery left us both reeling and after being sent home from the hospital, I felt so scared of having to care for this new and very small life.
I thought I was the typical new parent, overanalyzing every little thing, scared to fall asleep, and protective over who held her. I felt so completely out of control, unable to set boundaries and so unsure of everything.
With no family nearby, I felt completely and utterly alone in this new journey, where I was supposed to feel such joy. I wish I had had someone who would calm my nerves, reassure me and take a few things off my plate.
With my second child, I did. I hired a postpartum doula and it changed EVERYTHING.

My business story
After my daughter was born, I remember speaking with my birth doula about postpartum doulas. I knew that was what I wanted to do; I wanted to be there for new parents in a way that was severely lacking in my personal journey.
I took the postpartum doula training in 2018 through DONA, and shortly after, became pregnant with my son. After my son was born (a redeeming birth story for me), COVID hit 6 months later. While I spent some time working with friends and family sporadically, the truth was, I wanted to be home with my very young kids.
Finally, in April 2022, I officially opened my business, and haven't looked back. I absolutely love my job and continue to learn and grow with every new family.

About me
I am an eldest daughter, an August Leo and a mom of two.
As an avid CORVID (think crows, magpies, ravens) lover, you will sometimes find me whispering a quick "hello" to the birds before entering your home.
While I consider myself an introvert, this is highly contested by friends and family around me.
I'm an early riser, addicted to orange pekoe tea (heavy on the milk and sugar), and a veracious reader.
I like to add a little whimsy into everything I do, but do not subscribe to toxic positivity. I am someone who will sit with you in your grief, offering space, and then be your biggest cheerleader when you are ready to move on.
If I sound like someone who you would love to work with, let's meet!
